To clarify, most of the time that special Jullov barrel is missing from the map. Getting him twice in a row as extremely lucky.

The Jullov barrel, when you're lucky and it appears at all, is located in the south-central portion of the map, in the cavern just above the bottom-most cavern. More specifically, it's on the South-Eastern wall of that next-to-last cavern, a little bit north of the Geode on that wall.

Since we are trying to be exact, how about a picture... it is worth a thousand words. :p

So, to recap. If the map is a "Jullov Map", his barrel will be found at the orange arrow seen above. The probability seems to be somewhere between 1:6 and 1:10, but I haven't kept detailed records to confirm this.

Also, if your entire guild is looking out for Jullov maps, they can invite others when they find one and that way more people share the wealth. I've gotten as many as 5-10 Jullov maps in an hour if enough friends are farming.

First, don't know what "Iirc" means. "IRC" or "irc" mean "Internet Relay Chat", but that doesn't make any sense in context.
    Second, explain.
Third, how is my SW with a two handed staff supposed to use a shield? Or are you intending me to give up 38% of my mana and 65% of my DPS? That would take me from being an almost fragile cannon to a not-so fragile BB-gun.

You need to book mark the following page.
    http://www.acronymfinder.com/Slang/IIRC.html
P.S. I found that site by googling "iirc acronym" and it took me all of 30 seconds.

In this case, context would tell you that it means the second one "If I Remember Correctly."

Iirc = if i recall correctly.

Asfor the shield, it might be worth your time to farm blocking gear during non-event periods so that you can do other events. It is harder for SW and ranger, because of the lack of a wolf slayer shield and the the fact that the black warlord set is not a desirable base set, but it can be done. One of the reasons i have taken time to farm blocking gear is for events where block is useful.

Actually, In my oppinion: 1, 2, 4, 5, & 7 all could apply. 3 could also, if Novadude was being facetious.
Googling depends on how you frame it. I've seen that many times at work where a co-worker would get better/worse results searching just because we "frame" the same thing differently.
And it only took me 30 seconds to find out. I typed it and vwala, here's an explained meaning without having to guess from the seven.
You may, if you look at all my posts, notice that I don't, ummm..., shortcut my language. I say what I mean in full words 99% of the time. Doesn't leave others "guessing" what I'm trying to say. I type the same way when texting on my phone.

I've been farming Stalgard on/off for weeks trying to get that Armguard. Everytime I get the Destructor for a daily quest (and then the 3 world bosses just after). I've got the best equipment I've been able to get.

Till I get to level 50 and the Parallel World, I have what I've been able to get.

    Edit @ 2/9/2017 @ 7:35 pm ================================================
I have just 10 days ago got into Nahuatlan. Followed the "cloud" all the way to the back. Had to use blues and still was in trouble. I've great staff and better one if I can get the Armguards. Also, with the second bar I've rearanged my skills and have had to unlearn an over 3 month pattern to be efficient with the new better layout. I don't really know the gear your referencing. How much more mana can I get with them?

lol TwiliShadow, looks like you need to look into farming Nahuatlan or Cradle of Life/Cradle of Death. Start replacing that set with crafted legendaries... and perhaps use that draken to buy some of the dark set

Aside from, ofc, just getting to 50 and doing pw

Others on here may laugh, but I've actually been able to improve my toon (newly Lvl50 Ranger) significantly over the last couple of months farming the new Varguhl gear from the Full Moon event. Again, I'm playing a RA, don't know if the SW set from Full Moon will suit you, but if it's appealing, consider going for that event now. The sets, like most recent Unique gear, is Tiered. When you combine 4 items of the same type and same Tier, you'll craft a next higher Tier item of the same type, but it will be upgraded to your toon's current level.

So, if you're level 46 now, get two level 46 Tier 1 pauldrons from the event this month, then get two level 48 Tier 1 pauldrons next month (I'm guessing you'll be at level 48 next month in this example) then craft all 4 Tier 1 pauldrons together, you'll get a level 48 Tier 2 pauldron.

In other words, farming Full Moon for those Uniques now won't penalize you when you combine them down the line when you're level 50.

If you consider going this route, begin farming Full Moon soon during the non-event period in order to gather the items you'll need to have on hand when the event beggins (I believe on 2/17?). Also, there are a few sub-quests that take a couple of months to play out, so jump in there now.

I'll end this with the same caveat: Look at the stats of the SW version of the Full Moon Unique gear before you decide to go this route to decide if it'll be worth your effort.

P.S. I find the green gear drops in Full Moon are decent fodder for crafting. You shouldn't worry about crafting until you hit Level 50, but you might decide to farm it occasionally in day (non-event period) mode even if choose to skip the night (active event) play.

If you can't farm nahu, that means you are dangerously weak. I mean, i have alts i use to farm ander, which are SWs, (i find sw's the easiest to farm quests, ok), that use leg or good purple drops and they've never had a problem with nahu.

So you obviously need to scale up your dmg and critrate/critdmg. As a sw, don't worry about atkspeed too much for now. and also stop focusing on mana, its important but not if you can't do anything with it.

best way to get dmg is to get rid of that unique set you're using and find legendaries/put together some decent purples.

what's the "great staff" you've been using?
if you look at vargulf's gear and also the bloodmage (that one will take you a few events to get, though) gear, you might find better items. (as dkarl already said)
there is a variety of good staffs you can use, you might even choose one with crits and critdmg (to use for now)

Also, it's spelled "voila" even though it's pronounced \vwa- la\, because it's borrowed from french. :)

well completed mini 1 and 2, and for main quest made it to 1696 progress out of 5000. each run for mini I did the 3 bosses and supervisors at least on normal map, but not full map. even still, pretty poor drop. Saw jullov a grand total of 0 times, out of at least 60 runs (didn't keep count).

Below is my estimate of how long it takes to complete the event. Feel free to stop reading now :)

    -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-=-=-=-=-

I started tracking in detail after the first couple of days of limited runs, but think I can fairly accurately estimate how many I did before tracking began. With that caveat, I've done ~42 runs (normal) in main map, saw Jullov twice, at Run #2 and Run #32. So, Jullov barrel has shown up for me on about 5% of my runs.

Had some Mine Maps, Pickaxes and Impure Viscanium (200 progress) saved up from last time this event ran, plus some amphorae keys.

Opened 9 Golden Amphorae and (by accident) one plain amporae --> ~650-700 progress

Generally speaking, progress from Rocks (the freebies, not the Geodes which require a Pickaxe) averages about 10 per run.
If you have the ~19-21 Pickaxes necessary to clear all fully charged Geodes (skipping those with monster inside instead), that's about 80-90 additional progress.

Pickaxes drop at a rate of ~4.75 (i.e., not quite 5) per run (chiefly from dwarf kills, but occasionally from barrels). Plus, you get 2 from the packs in the repeatable quest that also gives you a Mine Map and 50 Impure Viscanium for killing 30 Supervisors ... usually takes 3 runs to finish that quest. Jullov is so inconsistently in the map and can drop anywhere from 5 to 15 Pickaxes, I'd say he just barely fills the 4.75 to 5.00 rounding error. Let's say on average the 3 sources (drops, Jullov, repeateable quest reward pack) you get 6 Pickaxes per run, so need about 3-1/2 runs to gather enough to open all of the Geodes on just one run.

Impure Viscanium (IV) drops (Rocks [5 IV], Geode Monster [50 IV, but you should only hit this once if you follow the Geode maps posted elsewhere], Trolls [15 IV], and Barrels [10 or 50 IV]) total between 250 and 550 IV per run, with an average of ~425 IV per run or just over 20 progress.

However, if you have no Mine Maps saved up / farmed in PVE maps, you'll use 1/3 of that on the repeatable quest that allows you to exchange 200 IV for one Mine Map. So, progress from IV drops is closer to 14 per run.

Trolls can drop 5 Pure Viscanium instead of 15 Impure Viscanium. I averaged not quite 1 "fat" troll per run (~85% of the time, or about 4.2 progress per run).

Add this mess together, it takes about 97 runs to complete main map progress bar. Of course, your luck may speed up that effort, or make it drag out even further.

And you can "cheat" like I did by using previously farmed IV, Pickaxes and Mine Maps (and/or farm in PVE maps in between Dwarf Mine runs) and/or Amphorae.

So, 9 runs a day, every day of the event. Doable, but you have to be somewhat dedicated to get through it; assuming 20 minutes per run for weak/average players, you're looking at 3 hours per day, every day.

Oh, and then there are the mini-events.

Per notes I've read elsewhere, it takes 1200 to 1500 Burners to complete the runs necessary for each mini-event. In the main map, killing the 3 mini-bosses nets an average of 40 Burners per run. We get 350 Burners as rewards from main map progress bar, so you need to farm about 2,700 Burners ... that's about 67 runs in the main map, so doable, and part of the 97 runs I'm estimating you need to do anyway for main map progress bar. However, the 1st mini started on, what, Day 3? So you've probably only earned 100 of those 350 progress bar Burners, meaning you'll need to have farmed about 1,100 or 27 runs in those first 3 days ... right on our 9 runs per day average, but that means you've got to do some main map farming at the same time you're doing mini-event map farming. Exhausting.

From my perspective as a solo-playing relative newbie Level 50 toon (Ranger), this is at least a 2 event cycle: Do the main event now, hang onto your Burners and 2 pieces of the wing mount, do the minis next time the event rolls around.

Nope that was requirement for the previous event ... in the latest version you need to do 21-26 runs in Steamship Harbor. That is 2100-2600 burners.

Nope its not! Unless U are dumb enough to do Harbormaps on a higher difficulty (And who wants to slow dull things down so they take even longer, right?) U get 20 burners back each map! So in reality U only pay 80 burners per map... Lets say the average is 25 runs times 80 = 2.000 burners!

Ok, we know that modes don't drop more progress, but here it's not about being "dumb". Most players who are sick of the event only care about the amount progress to get it over with already. On the other hand there are few players with strong stats who care about overall farming (ander, essence, etc) and to be honest fatal mode is not so hard if you're going solo, so I don't see why is bad if someone chose to play on a higher difficulty. It's his own benefit :)

The higher modes are still rather a fail as there's no increased progress. If there were, they would really make sense for more people.
