Winter Solstice Snowmen - What maps?

Does anyone have a list of the maps that have snowmen?

I'm playing in the southern contenent and I'm seeing no snowmen down there (specifically Still Water Bay and Frog River Delta). Are the snowmen specifically on the western contenent?

Thanks guys for the great info. Down in Lor'Tac I am racking up the Sugar Beets (744 in two days of partial play ~ 4 hrs). I don't remember getting them this fast last year, but I was new, low level and playing in Stifmore back then.

each lvl 15+ "wilderness" map will have 7-8 snowmen in it.

 

There are no snowmen in dungeons ... they are located only in open maps (wilderness).

 

In Lor'Tac the only snowmen you'll find will be in Nahuatlan and in the Twilight Downs. 7 snowmen in each of those maps. But if you want to farm only the snow essence, a lower lvl map like Slifmoor would be better. You can just change to movement speed and the monsters aren't strong enough to dismount you, so it goes fast...

 

I use Stillwater for beets which seems to net me around 85-90 each lap. Slifmoor and Troll Canyon I use for Snow Essence simply because it's quick and nothing can dismount you there.

 

I still use the two norseland wilderness maps (forget the names, the ones between the two cities) because I can essentially run the two as one continuous loop.

 

I use Helois 8 snowmen .. I simply do the circuit.. if lower lvl is farming them also, I group them so I do not hog the snowmen. and share drops

 

I believe they changed it so that everyone gets their own drops.

The background is still there. They just increased the contrast ratio to an extreme and adjusted colors until the background gets mostly washed out. Another method could be using an image editing tool that allows you to do some sort of smart select and then use that to select the edge of the map and pull that out and color it, that is more work.

 

In Photoshop:
Image / Settings / Invert
Image / Settings / Black and White (Adjust the arrows)
Filter / Sharpen / Sharpen Mask (Adjust the arrows)

I was actually refering to Testador's "Drop Drakensang" picture/adversment in his signature. As I look back at how I wrote, I can see the confusion. I didn't look closely at what was "quoted".
