Howdy, i've been playing yesterday around 23:00(UTC/GMT +2 hours) when i got disconnected from server probably due to some ISP/router mess up, when i tried to start game an hour later, i managed to select a character stationed at werian sanctuary but map texture wouldn load, not even on map change(outside the sanctuary) so i refreshed the browser and the game has just been hanging on "connection being established" ever since until completely frozen. i cleared browser cache and DSO cache with no effect whatsoever, so i cleared them again and cleared java cache as well, still nothing, i reinstalled whole java 2x and it still didnt work. so i tried to download client version to check if that would work - strangely 19MB took like 10 minutes to download and it would appear that for some reason, all downloads from drakensang servers are excesively slow- except for the webpage itself and forum that load normally. Even with a thin client, the game hangs on connection being establish and then freezes completely unless run only when it says optimal amount of files downloaded and even in that case, it takes forever until all map is loaded - textures, dialogs...game initialy hangs on any interaction with enviroment. Any ideas?

More info would help your support ticket:
    Preferred server choice,
cmd prompt , ping server.drakensang.com results, and
    cmd prompt, tracert server.drakensang.com results.

Rumor has it, that BP is examining possibilities on their side. Details might help.

Other user controllable features are not likely, but possible even for skilled computer users:
    registry clean-up
    temp file purge
internet speed check (several online and free)
modem check/reset (thunderstorm damage or fatigue)
    router check/reset
    malware check
    virus check
    internal computer diagnostics

You might try reinstall DSO with fresh download, if files are corrupted or hardware damaged.

There is a DSO Troubleshooting guide, https://board-en.drakensang.com/threads/technical-faq.60420/#post-615324

    howdy,

server is Heredur, i dont play other servers. i have completely cleaned registers and temp files, i have checked net speed of course prior creating this thread, i have also rebooted router, i cant exactly reset it, malware and virus check has been done not that long ago as well as some pc diagnostic. i'm using 2nd hand laptop so most of hw was checked prior purchase. i have only installed client after having problems with browser version so it has in fact been a clean install. and of course, everything else is running as usual.

also, after starting thin client when all files have been loaded and waiting couple of minutes after entering a new map, i can play without problems - basically the connection is there and stabe, in-game ping looks normal, the response time of character and NPC looks pretty standar, the only thing that is problematic is download of stuff - like when you encounter a new enemy on the map the game freezes for a couple of minutes then you find yourself dead of course but on second encounter the game works as supposed to.

You've covered your side well; it does sound like server issues.
Forum information is supposed to be forwarded to BigPoint, but please send in a Support ticket to make it official.
