Account Transfer

    Hello ladies and gents.

    I would like to ask if it`s possible to transfer my account from Kongregate to DSO.

    Why?

    1. Unable to purchase anything from the shop. I have the same issue as described here: https://board-en.drakensang.com/threads/cant-purchase-anything.59210/#post-613107
    Makes me wonder why would the game be put on third party sites if there is no option to purchase ingame currency/premiumship... Or if the option was there some time ago, why wouldn`t they resolve the problem and restore access to the shop.
    I would like to spend some moneys on the game, but I just simply can`t, who would have thought..

    2. I would really want to use client instead of choppy buggy Java. Don`t know what the deal is but sometimes it seems like Drakensang Online through Java stresses my graphics card more than Battlefield 3 does.

    And yeah, I just didn`t know there was a client for this game and that shop is not working and that you better register with Bigpoint rather playin through 3rd party site. But you browse the game site, click on game, start playing, it sucks you in, you progress and then you realize..

    I`m not a web/database specialist, but I`m pretty sure there should be a way..
    I have nickname, User ID, Global ID(it gives you all info when you click on "Support" button at ingame window), it does even issue you a forum account automatically, I didn`t have to register my account here even though I`m from Kongregate.

    Hello zergbull, :oops:

    When you register through a partner, you will not be able to use the client since you do not have a direct login on Drakensang Online. Also, the account features such as managing your password, e-mail address assigned to it, or subscribing to newsletter - will not be available for you either.

    Accounts cannot be transferred to direct DSO access because this would be a violation of the partnership agreement.

    The Kongregate accounts are in a difficult situation though, because at the beginning of this year, due to tax issues, payments has been disabled. Therefore, you can continue playing your account without problems, but you will not be able to make any purchases.

    Of course, this is a big inconvenience for everyone - players, partner, and our company - and they are working on finding a solution that works for everybody, but at the moment, we do not have any kind of updates.

    Also, your Game details might be stored in our database, because for specific game support, you should contact DSO directly, but your Personal details are most certainly only stored in the 3rd party's databases, without them being shared.

    The best thing to do is contact our Customer Care Team and discuss this further, because there is nothing we can do on the Forum to help you. I wish you the best of luck with your inquiry!

    As far as I know only Facebook will allow you to "ditch" them. Few friends of mine have already done it.
    If you ask them they will give you the password and username.
    But ... it is not the case with Kongregate or Google. My guild friend is playing through Google and he is not able to play without them.
    Best option would be to start a new account if possible (if you are not playing for a longer period).

    Wow, thank you very much guys for quick and honest replies. I`m even surprised a little bit, what magic is this o_O
    Now it makes sense.
    It would be amazing if game representatives could generate login details for my game account(if I provide them my User ID or whatever it needs), though I guess that would be too much to ask for, they have other things to do.

    But I might try my luck with them, thank you again.
